Half Marathon Route: start next to Kent Cycle on the Portage Bike and Hike. Run NE toward Ravenna to Towner's Woods. Complete a 2.2 mile loop in Towner's, then turn around and run back to start. From start, run SW through downtown to Middlebury. Turn there and run back to start/finsh line. There are stocked aid stations every 1-1.5 miles and potties at start, 2.75, 5, 7.75, and 10. The majority of the race is on Portage Bike and Hike, which is paved. The Towner's loop is on dirt trails. This means there will be roots, rocks, stairs and other creative ways to hurt yourself! However, you will see the most beautiful parts of Kent. Trains wiz by as you run along the river, next to lakes and through the trees that Kent is known for. Slow down and enjoy the scenery!

 

 

 

 

 

Duathlon Route: bikes start first and head out NE on Portage Bike and Hike. Ride out 5 miles, turn around and come back to transition or change team members. Runners run SW through town to Middlebury and back.
